Mellor And Townscliffe Golf Club

Mellor & Townscliffe Golf Club was established in 1894 and is located in Stockport at the border where the Cheshire Plain meets the High Peak. The course is recognized for providing extensive views over five counties and operates under a community amateur sports club model, ensuring it promotes the sport without any discrimination.

The site has historical significance that dates back to 1745 when John Wesley noted the landscape's beauty from what is now the 10th fairway. Mellor and Townscliffe Golf Club was formed after a merger in 1920 and eventually expanded to an 18-hole course, having moved through three different counties, and currently resides within Greater Manchester.

Green fees vary by season and day of the week. Summer green fees (April to September) are higher than winter green fees (October to March).

Guest rates are also available, with prices differing on weekdays and weekends in both summer and winter.
