Mid Kent Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Kent. The club was first formed in 1909.
In July 1909, the Mid Kent Golf Course was established, designed by Willie Park Jnr. The course was officially opened by the Rt Hon A J Balfour and Mr Littleton MP, accompanied by notable golfers Harry Vardon and James Braid.
The first President of the club was the esteemed cricketer Earl Darnley. The course has undergone layout and directional changes, with the most recent adjustment in 1972 resulting in the current configuration.
Numerous sports figures and celebrities, including Tony Jacklin, Peter Oosterhuis, Henry Cooper, and others, have graced the course over the years. As of its centenary in 2009, the Mid Kent Golf Course boasted a robust membership of 850 individuals.
Green fees vary based on the day of the week and the season. Weekday rates are generally lower than weekend rates.
During the summer season (April-October) weekday green fees are £40 and weekend green fees are £45. During the winter season (November-March) weekday green fees are £30 and weekend green fees are £35.
