Newport Golf Club is a members' golf club, in South Wales. The club was first formed in 1903.
Newport Golf Club was established at its original location of Ladyhill Farm in Newport on March 7, 1903, starting as a 9-hole course before being expanded to 18 holes in 1905. The club relocated to its current location at Great Oak, Rogerstone, in September 1912.
The golf course itself is known for its location 300 feet above sea level within Llwyni Wood, a setting of ancient oak woodland surrounded by rolling parkland. The course extends over 6,500 yards and offers a variety of golfing challenges set amidst the undulating terrain.
