Designed by J.H. Taylor, a five-time Open Championship winner, the Ogbourne Downs Golf Course occupies 200 acres of downland terrain. Established over a century ago, the course is recognized for its excellent drainage, allowing play year-round without temporary tees or greens, and it is known for providing expansive views across the landscape.
