Paisley Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Renfrewshire. The club was first formed in 1895.
The golf course associated with Paisley Golf Club was initially established in 1895 when a lease was secured for 40 acres of ground from Bushes farm, with the first ball being driven by Lady Glencoats. The course was used continuously until 1946 when Paisley Town Council considered the compulsory purchase of the land for housing, leading to discussions for relocation.
A new location for Paisley Golf Course was established on Glennifer Braes, with Mr McKenzie Ross designing the course and Mssrs Stutt executing the construction. The course was completed and officially opened for play with 18 holes in May 1953, coinciding with a special event for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth.
