Pyle and Kenfig Golf Club

Pyle and Kenfig is a course well paired with rounds on the same trip at Royal Porthcawl and / or Southerndown.

A round starts with a convenient hit in the net across from the first tee, or range a short walk away. There is a nice chipping and putting green for a quick warm up.

The front 9 is fairly plain, but classic links golf and much less penal than the back.

The back 9 is much more interesting, with more undulation and heroic tee shots required amongst a jungle of ferns framing this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

A strong links course, with the par 5s particularly nicely laid out.

Green fees vary depending on the season and day of the week. From April 1st, 2026 to October 31st, 2026, weekday rates are £110 and weekend rates are £130. Day tickets are also available.

From November 1st, 2025 to February 28th, 2026, weekday rates are £50 and Saturday rates are £60. Glamorgan, Gwent & Dyfed county cards are accepted during weekdays only, costing £55 from March to October and £35 during the winter.

Sundays after 1 PM are charged at the Monday-Thursday green fee rate.
