Rockliffe Hall Golf Club

The golf course at Rockliffe Hall benefits from the historical landscaping work on the estate conducted in the late 1800s by Alfred Backhouse and Alfred Waterhouse, which created natural contours and features integral to the course design. The course's history intertwines with the various uses and events of the estate, including ownership changes, such as Lord Southampton in 1918, and incidents like the 1903 and 1974 fires and the 1944 aircraft crash.

Designed by the renowned Hawtree course architects, Rockliffe Hall's golf course stands out with unique characteristics for each hole, offering golfers a variety of challenges. Not necessarily part of a historical account, golfers here are welcomed regardless of membership and can participate in golfing packages, take part in golf breaks, and benefit from the expertise of an experienced team aimed at providing a comprehensive golfing experience.

Visitor green fees are available. Weekend rates apply Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Twilight rates are available after 12pm during the winter season and after 3pm during the summer season.

Bookings can be made for up to 8 visitors, up to 21 days in advance. From November 1st 2024 to March 23rd 2025, a Winter Package for 1-8 players is £75 Monday to Thursday, £65 Monday to Thursday for 9+ players, £75 Friday to Sunday for 9+ players.
