Royal Eastbourne Golf Club

The Royal Eastbourne Golf Club was established in 1887 and received royal patronage that year from HRH Prince Albert Victor of Wales. On 27 October 1887, Queen Victoria granted the club permission to use the 'Royal' prefix.

The club's Devonshire Course, named after The Duke of Devonshire and at least 100 years old, combines elements of parkland and downland, and is known for its year-round playability due to exemplary drainage. This 18-hole course features diverse challenges including a mix of open fairways and narrow doglegs, as well as strategic bunkers and demanding putting surfaces.

The Hartington Course, also part of the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club and named after The Marquis of Hartington, offers a 9-hole layout that complements the Devonshire Course. It serves as an excellent practice venue for golfers looking to sharpen their skills or for those pressing for time wishing to complete a quicker round.

Located at Paradise Drive, Eastbourne, East Sussex BN20 8BP, the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club is accessible to visitors who can book tee times and take part in society bookings. The golf facility is also equipped with a pro shop and offers golf instruction through their Golf Academy.

Summer green fee rates for 2025 are valid until March 31st, 2025. Bookings can be made online or by calling 01323 744041. Twilight rates, applicable after 4pm, are not valid between November and March.

County card rates are available Monday to Friday after 1pm.
