Royal Worlington & Newmarket Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Suffolk. The club was first formed in 1893.
Royal Worlington & Newmarket, founded in 1893, is the Cambridge University golf team's home course and the only nine-holer in Golf World's Top 100. On the Cookie Jar Golf Podcast (Ep. 315, Sep 2024), a member recalled: "When I first joined the club over thirty years ago, the number one golfer was Derek Raines – Norfolk champion, played up at Hunstanton. His eclectic score over nine holes was 18. He's got four ones."
Sand-based soil gives excellent drainage and year-round play without temporary greens. The club favours two-ball play. Michael and Nigel serve as historian and archivist, working "exceptionally well as a duo."
