About: Runcorn Golf Club

Runcorn Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Cheshire. The club was first formed in 1909.

Runcorn Golf Club was established in 1909 as a 9-hole course on heathland, and it was expanded into an 18-hole course in 1977 following the commencement of work on additional holes in the early 1970s. The expansion resulted in a mature tree-lined parkland course, prominently located on the highest part of Runcorn, offering views over the Mersey and Weaver Valleys.

With a total yardage of 6048 from the white tees, the course is classified as a par 69, including two par 5s and five par 3s. Its greens are designed to provide a challenge to putting abilities, and the course's layout promotes easy walking during play.
