About: Sedbergh Golf Club

Sedbergh Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Cumbria. The club was first formed in 1896.

Sedbergh Golf Club was established in 1896 with golf originally being played on common land known as 'The Riggs'. In 1991, the club moved to its present location at Catholes-Abbot Holme, where the existing 9-hole course was professionally designed and constructed.

The course features tree-lined holes and fairways that cross the River Dee and run alongside the River Rawthey, emphasizing accuracy over distance. USGA specification greens and abundant water features present an enjoyable challenge to golfers of all levels.

Visitors are welcome every day, subject to availability. Summer green fees (April 1st - October 31st) are £36 for 18 holes, while winter rates (November 1st - March 31st) are £24.

Cumbria Union of Golf Clubs County Card holders can play for £20 midweek. National County Card holders can play for £24 midweek. All county card bookings must be made via the website enquiry form.
