St Clements Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Suffolk. The club was first formed in 1969.
St Clements Golf Club was established in 1969 on the grounds of the former Ipswich Borough Mental Health Hospital, designed by William Ribbans. Originally a facility for NHS patients and staff, the course is now open to members and is located within the Foxhall community where some of the original Italianesque style buildings have been converted into luxury apartments.
The nine-hole heathland course at St Clements Golf Club is known for its year-round playability due to effective drainage across all greens. Notable features include the signature hole known as 'The Mickey Mouse', a 250-yard par 4 with a steeply sloping green and a strategically placed deep front bunker.
Pay and play golfers are welcome subject to availability and by prior booking only. Rates are effective from April 1, 2025. The weekday rate is £19.00 per round (18 holes) for adults and the weekend rate is £24.00 per round (18 holes) for adults.
