Stocks Golf Club

The golf course officially opened in 1992 as part of Stocks Country Club and underwent a redesign in 2012, emerging as an 18-hole championship course with a par of 73 and stretching over 6,800 yards.

Stocks is a chalk downland course known for excellent drainage, allowing play under most weather conditions, with grass rough as its primary challenge and an ecosystem supporting wildflowers and ground-nesting birds.

The golf course features carefully managed rough to limit the loss of balls into deeper hazards and boasts reconstructed bunkers to high specifications.

It contains three water hazards: a lake beside the drive-in, a pond in front of the 12th green, and another pond concealed behind the ridge on the first fairway.

Notably, the course has nine elevated greens which obscure the bottom of the flag from view on approach shots, requiring awareness of pin positions, which are noted at the bar.

Additionally, the golf course offers practice facilities, including nets, and an area for putting and chipping practice complete with a bunker.
