About: Stranraer Golf Club

Stranraer Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Dumfries & Galloway.

Stranraer Golf Club, designed in 1950 by the legendary James Braid, holds the unique distinction of being his final commission.

Braid, lured out of retirement, crafted a classic parkland layout at Creachmore on the scenic shores of Loch Ryan.

The course expertly utilizes the natural contours of the land while providing breathtaking views across the loch, ensuring a memorable round.

Green fees vary depending on the season. Spring/Summer rates (March 16 – October 17) are £50.00 for 18 holes and £35.00 for twilight (after 3pm). Autumn/Winter rates (October 18 – March 15) are £25.00 for 18 holes on both weekdays and weekends.

Juniors (under 18) receive a 50% reduction when accompanied by an adult. Societies and large parties should contact the club for a quotation.
