About: Tadmarton Heath Golf Club

Tadmarton Heath Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Oxfordshire. The club was first formed in 1922.

Tadmarton Heath Golf Club, established in October 1922, was designed by leading amateur golfer Cecil K. Hutchison in collaboration with James Braid. The course was inaugurated with an exhibition match between prominent golfers Cyril Tolley and Roger Wethered, showcasing its challenging layout from the onset.

The course, originally situated on Holywell Farm, has a rich pre-war history of hosting leading amateur players and survived substantial damage during the 1940s when it was repurposed for agricultural production and military training. Remarkably, the course was fully playable again by 1947, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the ground staff and German prisoners of war.

Visitors are welcome during the week and at weekends. Green fees vary depending on the day and time.
