Tandridge Golf Club

Tandridge Golf Course was established in the 1920s during the Golden Age golf boom, prompted by a group of golfers from Limpsfield Chart Golf Club and led by Sir Henry Gibson. World-renowned architect Harry Colt was commissioned to design the course; he had an acclaimed portfolio including designs at St. George's Hill, Swinley Forest, and the New Course at Sunningdale.

The course at Tandridge quickly resumed normal operations post-WWII, attracting notable golfers such as Peter Alliss, and continued to evolve through the 20th century, with a strategic plan put in place to guide its development into the new millennium. These careful plans have consistently upgraded the course's presentation and playability, earning it a place on several of the Top 100 lists in Great Britain and Ireland.

Harry Colt's legacy at Tandridge, established in 1924, is distinguished by its integration into the Surrey North Downs and the High Weald, presenting golfers with a challenging layout. The course features strategically placed bunkers, plateau greens, and subtle borrows on the greens that demand precision and skill.

Recent accolades for Tandridge Golf Course include its mention in Golf Monthly and its editor, Mike Harris's, endorsement of its exceptional condition. The course is also noted in several Top 100 lists, reflecting its status within the UK and Irish golfing community as influenced by continuous enhancements to both the course design and maintenance.

Visitors are welcome Mondays through Thursdays, with limited Friday availability booked via phone or the pro shop. Tee times can be requested up to 2 months in advance by phone or email, or booked online up to 10 days in advance.

Maximum green fee is £160 per person. Some reduced fees may be available online.
