Telford Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Shropshire. The club was first formed in 1980.
The golf course at Telford Golf Club was developed in the 1970s by Telford Development Corporation on land that was historically part of the Hay Farm, once owned by Abraham Darby II and then Abraham Darby III. This land, which was central to industrial advancements and the local grain trade in the 18th century, became the location where the course was established.
In 1976, the golf course opened and transitioned to a private club in 1980. The original farm buildings now form part of a hotel complex, as the course is currently owned by Q Hotels and operates as a Spa Hotel and Golf Resort.
