The Golf House Club at Elie was established in 1875; the course land was acquired in 1974. Golf has been played here since the 15th century. Located in the East Neuk of Fife, 12 miles from St Andrews, it offers a classic links challenge with firm fairways and fast greens.
A guest on the Cookie Jar Golf Podcast (Ep. 197, May 2023) captured the appeal: "I passed it on my commute for most of those years. When I first played it, I just couldn't believe that I'd not explored it earlier. It is so much fun."
