The Oxfordshire Golf Resort, Hotel and Spa

The Oxfordshire Golf, Hotel & Spa, with its clubhouse established in 1992, was designed by Rees Jones—a golf course architect known for working on courses like Torrey Pines and Pinehurst. Hitoshi Matsuura, the then Chairman of the Nitto Kogyo group from Japan, commissioned Jones to leverage the potential of the land nestled in the Chilterns for a golf course with championship qualities.

The course's official opening occurred in the Spring of 1993 and featured a design that included four lakes and one-hundred and thirty-five bunkers, suited for championship golf. The Oxfordshire has hosted numerous tournaments, including the Benson & Hedgers Open from 1996-1999, the Ladies English Open in 1996, and the Club Professionals Championship in 2017, among others.

In the early 2000s, under the ownership of Leaderboard Golf since 2002, The Oxfordshire became a premier venue for golf events as well as high-class meetings and corporate events. The course has welcomed the BB&O PGA annually for a pro-am and has been celebrated for its quality, having received rankings and awards from various golf entities.

Significant investment by Leaderboard Golf in the early 2010s resulted in the opening of a new high-end hotel and spa at The Oxfordshire. This expanded the offerings to include hospitality services, creating a complex with fifty rooms, a serene spa, a fully equipped gym, and a fifteen-meter indoor swimming pool.

Green fees vary depending on the season and day of the week. Junior guests (under 18) receive a 50% reduction on standard green fees. PGA professionals receive complimentary green fees when accompanied by paying guests; bookings must be made through the Pro Shop.
