Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel is home to an 18-hole championship golf course established in 1922, by renowned designer James Braid. The course is characterized by its coastal heathland layout, running through heather, gorse, pine, and silver birch trees, and is structured to be playable all year round.

Notable features of Thorpeness Golf Course include its integration into the natural landscape, with an emphasis on preserving the native flora and fauna. The course has received accolades for its environmental stewardship and was awarded The Overall Achievement Award in the STRI Golf Environment Awards in 2012, deeming it the greenest golf club in Britain at that time.

Visitor tee times are available from 9:32 AM daily. Bookings can be made online or by calling the Pro Shop. Weekend rates may apply to weekday play during holiday seasons.
