Trentham Golf Club

Trentham Golf Course was established as a nine-hole course on the Duke of Sutherland's estate at Trentham in May 1894, based on a historical letter dated September of that year. It featured significant participation by women from its inception, with a Ladies' Club governed by Miss Pigott as the Honorary Secretary.

The course has a distinction of being used for Open Championship Qualifying and has hosted various England Golf and Staffordshire County events. Additionally, it is a venue identified for future R&A and England Golf Championships, demonstrating the course's suitability for high-level golf competitions.

Visitor green fees vary depending on the season. Summer rates apply from 1 April to 31 October, while winter rates are in effect from 1 November to 31 March.

County Card holders can enjoy discounted rates Monday to Thursday. For groups of 8 or more, please contact the office for arrangements.
