Wenvoe Castle Golf Club is a members' golf club, in South Wales. The club was first formed in 1936.
The golf course at Wenvoe Castle was established and opened in July 1936, with its initial layout advised upon by James Braid, a five-time winner of the Open. C.K. Cotton, another renowned golf architect, later advised on modifications to the course.
During World War 2, the golf course underwent significant changes with the back nine holes being ploughed for cereal production, and the clubhouse being requisitioned. It took until 1956 for the full 18 holes to be restored for golfing use, and further improvements, including the addition of trees and bunkers, have since been made to the course.
