About: Whickham Golf Club

Whickham Golf Club is a members' golf club, in Durham. The club was first formed in 1911.

Whickham Golf Club was founded in 1911 and relocated to Hollinside Park in 1938. In June 2016, the original Crombie Course underwent modernization and reopened. The Hollinside Park Course was expanded, creating a par 71 for men and a par 74 for ladies.

The course provides a challenging test for golfers of all abilities, with its imaginative layout and breathtaking views of the Derwent Valley. Accuracy is crucial as players navigate tree-lined fairways to reach small and challenging greens.

Summer green fees are effective from April 13th, 2025, to October 31st, 2025. Weekday rates are £35 per person, and weekend/bank holiday rates are £40 per person. Durham County Card and English Golf Union Card holders can play for £22 per person on weekdays only.
