Woking Golf Club

Established in 1893, Woking Golf Club is recognized as the oldest heathland course in Surrey and has a longstanding presence in the UK's various top 100 course rankings. The course presents a strong strategic test, exemplified by its immense green complexes, undulating terrain, and distinctive heathland features such as purple heather and white sand bunkers.

Notable for its role in the development of strategic golf course design, Woking Golf Club's architecture was heavily influenced by members John Low and Stuart Paton in the early 20th century, particularly through the innovation of bunker placement and course strategy. This guiding philosophy has been inspirational for many course designers, with some citing the course's challenging greens and strategic layouts as a source of ongoing study and admiration.

Green fee rates are seasonal. The rates from 1st April 2025 - 31st October 2025 for 18 holes are £190 (Mon-Thur) and £205 (Friday). From 1st November 2025 - 31st March 2026 the rates are £125 (Mon-Thur) and £140 (Friday).
