Wrekin Golf Course in Telford, Shropshire, was established in 1905 and completed in the summer of 1910. The course was inaugurated with an exhibition match featuring Harry Vardon and George Duncan on October 14th and 15th, 1910, coinciding with the meeting for the Shropshire Challenge Bowl.
Wrekin Golf Course is an 18-hole course known for its undulating terrain and natural hazards, providing a challenging yet fair test for golfers. Its features include natural woodland surroundings and a selection of six one-shot holes, notably the 7th hole which is recognized for its elevated tee shot and well-bunkered green.
