Yelverton Golf Club

Yelverton Golf Course was established as an 18-hole moorland course in South Devon in 1923, designed by Herbert Fowler, who also contributed to holes at several renowned courses including Walton Heath and The Berkshire. Fowler incorporated existing mine workings and leats into the design to serve as natural hazards, enhancing the technical challenge of the course.

The course is known for its extensive views across Dartmoor and into Cornwall and has been the venue for prestigious competitions such as the EGU Men's Senior Amateur Championships in 2006 and the Devon Golf Men's and Ladies Amateur Championship in 2023. These events underline its status as a course capable of testing golfers of all skill levels.

Green fees vary based on the season. From 1st October to 31st March, weekday rates are £55 and weekend rates are £60. From 1st April to 30th September, weekday rates are £70 and weekend rates are £75.

Twilight rates are available from 4.30pm with further reduced rates available from 6pm. County card holders (Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset) receive discounted weekday rates.
