Carne Golf Links, located in Belmullet, Co. Mayo, Ireland, was established with its initial 18 holes designed by Eddie Hackett in 1992, and expanded with the additional Kilmore 9 holes designed by Jim Engh and Ally McIntosh in 2013. Thefacility offers 27 holes in total, comprising the original Hackett 18 and the newer Kilmore 9, set within a landscape featuring large dunes and proximity to the sea.
Notable for its rugged natural terrain and encouragement of traditional walking play, Carne Golf Links presents uneven lies, blind shots, and variability influenced by the wind and weather conditions.
