About: Darwen

Darwen is a parkland, 18 hole golf course in Lancashire. The course first opened on this site in 1893.

Established in 1893, Darwen Golf Course is located in Darwen, Lancashire, and offers views extending to Blackpool from its highest points. The course is recognized for its challenging layout, with a par of 71 and measuring 6,218 yards, featuring various elevation changes.

The front nine holes present more of a parkland setting incorporating numerous water hazards, while the back nine boasts a moorland landscape with significant undulations. Darwen Tower, which was constructed in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee, can be seen from many vantage points across the course.

Bookings for visitors are available online. Weekday green fees are £25, while weekend green fees are £30.
