Five Lakes (Links)

Established in 1974 as Manifold Golf Club with what was known as the Links course, the golf course began its journey near a clubhouse close to the road. It later underwent ownership changes, leading to a renaming as Quietwaters Golf Club and the addition of the Lakes course and hotel in 1995 by A.B. Hotels after a period of development.

With a merge in April 2000 due to impractical separate club operations, Links and Lakes Golf Clubs became Five Lakes Golf Club. In October 2021, the property was purchased by Potters and reopened in May 2022 with a £1 million investment in the facilities, including a new golfers bar, Pro shop, changing rooms, and course improvements, resulting in the conversion of the Links Course into a par 3 course for hotel guests and members.

The golf club's history highlights hosting European Tour qualifying competitions in the 1990s and various Euro Pro Tour events. Notable achievements include being finalists in the 2006 Youth Shield and the 2009 Thornton Challenge Cup.

The Lakes Course is known for hosting events such as the Nick Faldo Challenge and regional PGA tournaments. The course is a par 72, spanning 6,267 yards from the Silver tees, featuring lakes, bunkers and a blend of mature and newly planted trees, designed by European Tour player Neil Coles.

Green fees at Five Lakes Golf Club use dynamic pricing. Prices range from £30 for off-peak times to £60 during peak times.
