About: Portsalon

Portsalon is a links, 18 hole golf course in Donegal.

Portsalon Golf Club boasts a rich history, dating back to its original links designed in 1891 by Charles Thompson of Royal Portrush.

A 2000 redesign by Pat Ruddy modernized the course, incorporating nine new holes while retaining the spirit of the original layout.

Further enhancements, including bunkering improvements guided by Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley, continue to refine this exceptional Donegal links experience.
