Woburn (Marquess) is a forest, 18 hole golf course in Buckinghamshire. The course first opened on this site in 2001.
The Marquess Course at Woburn, a union of design expertise from Peter Alliss, Clive Clark, European Golf Design, and Alex Hay, opened in 2000. It quickly gained acclaim as the 'Jewel in the Crown', named in honor of the then Marquess of Tavistock, and stands as a testament to the vision of the Duke of Bedford and the late Alex Hay, who oversaw the club's ascendancy to a premier golfing destination.
