Cecil Key Hutchison

Cecil Key Hutchison (1877–1941) was an English golf course architect and accomplished amateur. Educated at Eton, he excelled at cricket for the Household Brigade and MCC, served in the Boer War and WWI, and represented Scotland in nine consecutive matches against England (1904–12). He reached the Amateur final in 1909, losing by one hole at Muirfield. Hutchison partnered with James Braid on Gleneagles (King's and Queen's), Tadmarton Heath, and West Sussex. He worked with Guy Campbell in Links & Courses Ltd (later Ferigna), handling design, construction, and maintenance.
