Marc Westenborg

Marc Westenborg is a British golf course architect and principal of Westenborg Golf Design in Cheshire. He trained as a quantity surveyor, studied golf course management, worked as a greenkeeper at Gleneagles and The Oxfordshire, spent a year in construction in America, and worked for Hawtree Ltd for 14 years. His designs include Dun Laoghaire (voted #1 parkland in Ireland 2013, 2014, 2016), Rockliffe Hall (English Senior Open 2013, 2014), Cobh, Carrick-on-Shannon, and Gorstyhill. Renovations include Dooks, Blainroe, Cork, Southport & Ainsdale, Ipswich, Moor Park, West Herts, and Hong Kong Golf Club. He is an EIGCA member and holds a qualification in sustainable design.
