Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Club

Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Club was designed by the esteemed course architect James Braid, who used the natural topography situated on the edge of the White Cliffs of Dover. The design exploits the rugged features such as a sharp ridge and a deep valley, which extends into the neighboring landscape, providing expansive views from its unique vantage point.

This Downland course spans a length of 6471 yards when played from the white tees and is noted for its accessibility to a wide range of skill levels. Despite its playability, it poses a variety of interesting challenges set amidst a stunning backdrop that continually draws players back. Key features include the excellent condition of the course, its impressive setting, and the accompanying clubhouse amenities, which collectively contribute to an unforgettable golfing experience.

The golf course was established over 100 years ago with the intention to make golf more accessible to families and women. The course is still known for its community-oriented beginnings.
