About: Alsager Golf And Country Club

Alsager Golf And Country Club is a members' golf club, in Cheshire. The club was first formed in 1976.

Alsager Golf and Country Club was established in May 1976 by three local businessmen, in partnership with the land-owning local farmer. The par 72 course was originally designed by then Pro/Greenkeeper Ron Rimmer from Crewe Golf Club.

Throughout the years, the course has undergone modifications that adjusted its par from 72 to the current 70. Ownership changed hands in the 1980s, leading to the club's members purchasing the course in 1989, which was commemorated by the introduction of The Celebration Cup tournament.

The golf course has been subject to continual investment to maintain and enhance facilities, most notably with a complete drainage and irrigation update, facilitating near year-round play. Ongoing improvements focus on playability for golfers of all levels, including recent modifications to the back nine holes.

Weekday visitor green fees are £40. Weekend visitor green fees are £50.

Member guest rates are £25, valid on both weekdays and weekends.
